It's almost Easter and the girls want to decorate the Easter branches. What with? With Easter chicks and nests, we get started right away! So fun, painting, pasting and cutting, cozy on a Wednesday afternoon!
How to make Easter chicks and nests
Prick on two skewers a ball each and paint them yellow.
Prick with a skewer a tunnel in each ball.
Use a large needle to lace a nylon thread through the tunnel.
Stick wobbly eyes and a little beak on your chick's head.
Prick holes in the balls and stick in feathers with glue as wings and a tuft in the head.
Cut with pliers pieces of orange pipe cleaner off and stick the legs in the chick.
Now the chick is ready so you kan hang it in the Easter cherry blossom twigs!
Let the glue and the paint every time dry very well!
Cut a styrofoam ball in half and paint the halves yellow.
Stick the eggs on the borttom of the nests.
Tie coloured ribbons on the birds nests.
The Easter branches look very pretty!
Happy Easter Day!
