white greeting cards, 13x13cm
watercolor
brushes
print of the pattern
pair of scissors
head pins
woolen felt, pink, white and black
fluffy pink feathers
hobby glue
black felt-tip pen
Send a happy summer greeting with your homemade flamingo card. Nice for your BFF or your grandmother and also fun to make! Because we are going to paint, we cut and paste felt and feathers and the cards will be very pretty!
How to make these cheerful summer greeting cards
First paint a lovely coloured background on your card(s)
We paint a beach.
We paint the sea and the sand.
On the second card we paint a fantasy.
Allow the paint to dry well.
Cut out the flamingo's while the paint is drying but first print the pattern
Cut out the pattern.
Pin the pattern onto the felt.
Cut out the flamingo's.
Place a flamingo on a card, to see of it fits.
Fetch the dry cards and stick on the flamingo's.
Stick the beak and the feathers on the flamingo as well.
Allow the glue to dry well.
Draw an eye on the flamingo's head.
Come up with a fun line to put on your card, or not ;))
Stick a stamp on your cards, now they can be posted! Happy Summer!
