Original White Marshmallows
piece of dark chocolate
fondant icing
piece of orange marzipan
a packet Mikado chocolate sticks (Lu)
sugar garnish
You can make this funny cupcakes as a treat for a January Birthday boy or girl but then you have to really feel like making them! For tp decorate cupcakes with a snowman for a whole class is a lot of work but everyone will really like them.
Remember to also give a few natural cupcakes to school. There are always children who prefer just a plain cake.

We've already baked the cupcakes with the basic recipe.
We've made the icing too, we can start right away!
Insert a chopstick through the marshmallows to make a hole.
The hole should be large enough for a Lu choco stick.
Push the Lu Mikado stick through two marshmallows.
Cut it of the end the right length to stick it into a cupcake.
Place the chocolate on a plate on a pan hot water and melt it.
Brush icing on the cupcakes with a spatula.
Insert the snowmen in the cupcakes.
Use a skewer to make a hole to later on stick the nose in.
Use the melted chocolate to make faces on the snowmen.
Sprinkle some decorative sugar on the icing to give it a frozen look.
Roll a piece of coloured fondant icing thinly.
Cut a long strip and a shorter strip off.
The small piece makes the knot, cut a fringe in the end.
Roll an carrot and stick everything with some water on the snowman.
Now your snowmen are ready, they are too cute!
Outside in the snow the snowman looks really happy!
