200g biscuits or cake
200g cream cheese, natural
200 ml double cream
6 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
500g strawberries
100g double cream
and also 6 jars with a lid

We make strawberry & cream cheesecake jars for a last Summer vacation picnic, tomorrow school starts. First we need 6 jars, with a lid, otherwise you can't take the pots with you ;)) An empty jam jar is fine but preserve jar will also do. Keep some strawberries aside, to decorate.

How to make strawberry & cream cheesecake jars

Crumble the cookies.

Wash the strawberries.

Add 1 tablespoon sugar.

Crush the strawberries.

Set the cookies and strawberries aside for now

Put the craem cheese, doublecream, 5 tablespoons sugar and the vanilla in the mixer

Mix it all smooth.

Scrape the mixing bowl.

Fold in the strawberrie puree.

Divide the crumbs between the pots.

Fill up with the cream cheese mixture.

Place the pots in the refrigerator to set.

Beat 100 ml cream with some sugar.

Add it to the jars and top it with the remaining strawberries.

Bring the pots with you  in a cool bag!
