On Animal Day we read the latest book by Mariken Jongman, it is called Alle dieren levend en vrij (All animals alive and free). It has a subject that touches many children: laboratory animals and factory farming.
But not only kids of course, we should actually say: that affects a lot of people. Unfortunately, there are still nowhere near enough of these people to really change the poor conditions in which animals live, in our society.
