A tasty combination, honey melon&pineapple. You can make a sweet summery jam with them. If you like your jam less sweet use the special fruit sugar, it evens out the sweetness of the fruit. The special fruit sugar is half as sweet as the regular fruit sugar.

Peel the pineapple and cut the rings fine.
Put the sliced pineapple in a large pan.
Cut the honey melon lengthwise in half
Remove the pips and cut the melon in cubes.
Weigh the clean fruit and put it back in the pan.
Squeeze the half lemon and the juice to the fruit.
Stir in the fruit sugar and put the pan on low heat.
Bring the mixture to the boil and let it boil hard for a minute.
Turn off the heat and put the pan aside. Remove the foam with a skimmer.
If you feel the fruit is to coarse then blend it shortly.
Fill the sterilized jars almost to the rim. Close the firmly, put them upside down for 5 minutes en turn them back again.
Stick on a label with content&date. Keep the jam in a cool dark place. Unopend the jam stays good for half a year. If opend keep the jam in the fridge.
Such a summer jam tastes also delicious in winter!
