200g selfraising flour
200g caster sugar
200g soft butter
3 free range eggs (room temperature)
10g vanilla sugar
a pinch of salt
How to make quick and easy a delicious vanilla cake, using our basic recipe
Grease a baking mould then dust it with flour
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar fluffy.
Add the eggs one-by-one and mix it in.
Sieve the flour and salt then fold it in, in parts.
Fold all the flour in until you have a smooth batter.
Preheat the oven to 170°c.
Spoon the batter into the mould then smoothen the top with the rounded side of a spoon.
Bake the cake in ± 55 minutes golden and cooked.
Let the cake cool in the tin, then on a wire rack.
