2 tablespoons double cream
10 drops of red or pink food colouring
heart shaped sprinkles
A nice job to do for or with the kids is pouring chocolate. Using a cute silicone mold from Taiwan the chocolates look adorable. Even more because we colour the chocolate pink for Valentine!
How to pour chocolate
Bring water to the boil then turn it low.
Melt the chocolate au bain marie.
Stir in the double cream.
Stir in the food colouring too.
Pour the melted chocolate into the mold. The little tap on the counter is to remove any air bubbles. Allow the chocolate to cool completely before placing it in the fridge
Tap the mold on the counter and let it cool.
Let the chocolate harden in the fridge.
Press the chocolates out and cut them smooth.
After two-three hours the chocolate is hard, leaving it overnight in the fridge is much better
If you like you can stick tiny hearts onto the chocolates.
Wrap the chocolates if you'll hide them in the mailbox.
Happy Valentine's Day!
