200 grams soft butter
100 grams caster sugar
1 free-range organic egg
270 grams patent flour
a pinch of salt
10 grams cocoa
100 grams milk chocolate
Our third and final biscuit for this year's Eid al-Fitr is the chocolate star. You not only make chocolate dough but you also dip the cookies halfway in melted Tony's Chocolonely and that tastes very good! The cookies themselves are made quickly enough, the only thing you have to wait for is the setting of the chocolate :))
How to make the Chocolate Stars
Place btter and sugar in a bowl.
Mix it together until creamy.
Beat the egg and add it,
Beat the egg into the butter mixture.
Stir the salt into the flour.
Sift it into the bowl and fold it in.
Finally fold in the cocoa as well.
Knead the dough by hand until smooth.
Warp the dough and let it cool for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 170°C, place waxed paper on the baking tray and cut out the stars
Roll the dough to 1 cm thickness.
Cut out stars.
Place the stars on the baking tray.
Bake them for 12 - 15 minutes.
Chop the chocolate finely.
Melt it au bain marie.
Let the melted chocolate cool a little.
Dip the biscuits into the chocolate and let it set.
The chocolate stars are very tasty with a cup of tea!
