- 250g self-raising flour
- 100g butter
- 85g caster sugar
- 150ml milk
- 4 free range eggs
- teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 30g cocoa
- 100g dark chocolate
Dark chocolate muffins taste undoubtedly the best! We make these muffins especially for Christmas, because they are not only the tastiest muffins, but also the most beautiful. Add fresh whipped cream and you'll be in the Christmas mood right away!
How to make these chocolate muffins
Preheat the oven to 190°C
Chop the pieces of chocolate fine with a blender.
Add the fine chocolate to the mixture.
Mix the chocolate into the butter mixture
Place sugar, vanilla, salt, and cocoa in a bowl. Sieve in the flour and stir it together to combine. Mix it in small portions into the chocolate mixture.
Place paper muffin cases in a muffin tin and fill them for 2/3.
Slide the tray into the oven and bake the muffins 15 min., they don't have to be all dry inside
These muffins are so good, let's bake some more before Christmas.
