A super-simple craft that even the littlest ones can participate in is making floating flowers. It is actually a water experiment because when the flowers just touch the water they open by themselves. Everyone has already at hand what you need for it, so that's not a problem. A sheet of paper, colouring pencils, a bowl of water and Bob's your uncle :))
Here is how you make the floating flowers
Here is how you make the floating flowers
Draw flowers and cut them out.
Colour the flowers
Give the flowers different colours.
Allow the youngest to colour first.
Fold the flowers petal by petal until closed.
Put a flower in the water and what do you see?
The flower opens on it's own!
When everyone puts his flower in the water this happens!
What a lovely floating bouquet!
