We are making a very tasty treat! From popcorn with white chocolate, we make fairy wands in pink and blue. But maybe there are also girls and boys who don't like a magic wand at all, don't worry, because we also make bags ;)) You can make the popcorn yourself, in a pan or in the micro-wave or you can buy it ready made in the supermarket. It's all okay!
How to make Magic Fairy Wands
Prepare a baking tray with waxed paper, very lightly dusted with icing sugar and turn the heat on medium high.
Pour a thin layer of oil in the pan and heat it.
Add the popcorn to the pan then place the lid on top.
When you hear no more popping sounds the popcorn is ready.
Tip the popcorn on the baking tray and let it cool for a while.
Meanwhile we melt the chocolate au bain marie
- Place a pan with a thin layer of water in it and a heat-resistant dish on top on medium heat
- When te water boils turn off the heat and put the chopped chocolate with the cream into the bowl
- Let it stand until the chocolate melts all around, stir for a second and it is ready to pour
Chop the chocolate finely.
Add the double cream.
Wait for the chocolate to melt.
Pour the chocolate on the popcorn.
Coat the popcorn well.
Put on waxed paper and press.
Press using a heavy cutting board.
Allow the chocolate to set in the fridge 2 - 3 hours.
Then cut out stars from the chocolate popcorn.
Place the stars on waxed paper.
Chop the leftovers into neat pieces.
Put it all back in the fridge.
Scatter sprinkles on the stars.
Tie the ribbons on the straws.
To make the holes in the stars we used a chopstick, it works best if the stars are really hard (cold), but unavoidably some will break.
Prick holes and stick the straws in the stars.
Wrap the magic fairy wands if you want to treat your friends.
Have lots of fun!
