The great Snortle hunt by British author Claire Freedman is an exciting, funny picture book for toddlers and preschoolers in October. The story starts a bit exciting but at the same time very funny, the rhyming text is perfect and the unexpected end is very sweet. The mini-monsters say it is a super fun book and so do we!
Kate Hindley's brilliant illustrations are very in sinc with the story. We know her illustrations well, she illustrated the series The Royal Rabbits of London of which part one is also discussed at snazzie.
Do not forget to watch the funny video by Bookaboo & Adam Beach. This boek is a joy to read to the monsters all year round but in the month October it's extra nice to shudder together around Halloween!
