It is not for the tender-hearted little monsters, nor for the little ones but the older kids can't get enough of The witches. Fortunately this book full of black humor, beautifully illustrated by Quentin Blake, is also a joy to the adult reader.
It is very difficult to recognize Roald Dahl's Witches, they do not look quite like the ugly, nasty monsters that they are. They do not show their real faces! These witches are beautiful and hip and they treat you lovingly, but secretly they hate children.
If the witches are nearby you are not sure of your human life, before you know it you're a mouse! Exciting, creepy but written with so much humor is why this book stays adored by young and old.
