De Koning en zijn Schat (The King and his Treasure), written in vers by Erik van Os and Elle van Lieshout is a popular book with our mini-monsters, we read it to them often. The rhymes are so funny, about a king who forgets everything a King should remember and his clever daughter, the princess.
Just as nice and funny are the illustrations by Mark Janssen. The king without clothes with his giant crown, the fat cats and the servants who despair from the king, there are so many funny details to look at.
Together with the fun rhymes it makes this a book that we have been enjoying for a few years now. Warmly recommended!
