The little snazzie readers - like a lot of kids - love dinosaurs. Dinosaur Wars by world-renowned paleontologist Dr. Phil Manning is exactly what you like your older kids to read. The text is serious but attractively written by a scientist with a passion and a there is a highlighted fact on every page. A large picture book with lot of information and all the facts are right.
The ghouly pictures of attacking dinosaurs with blood and wounds on every page are perhaps a bit much. The English name of the book is more revealing than the Dutch. In Dutch the book is called The strenght of the Dinosaur.
