What fun we have with this great Spring book The vegetable garden of Heer Hermelijn and Kereltje Konijn written by Erik van Os and Elle van Lieshout. The story is funny, sweet and written with a lot of imagination. Both the mini-monsters and we, their readers, already hold this book in our hearts.
Marije Tolman's brilliant illustrations contribute a lot to our enjoyment. The dear Mister Ermine and the funny Little Guy Rabbit really stole our hearts at first sight. Very nice for us is that our little viewers/listeners feel the same way about them. Of course they have been vegetable garden fans for some time, but they find these two figures just as funny as we do. (Hopefully it will be translated into English soon!)
