Today we are making a Sinterklaas surprise for a classmate who loves Minecraft a lot. One of the most beloved characters in this game is the Creeper, it is a very explosive figure ;)) You will find him everywhere, on school bags, sweaters, T-shirts and school supplies. A nice binder with a Creeper on it, hidden in a large Creeper will certainly be well received!
How to make a Creeper
Our box for the body is too long, so we shorten it.
Cut the corners in, fold them firmly inward.
Close the box by winding adhesive tape around it.
Brush the box with glue.
Wrap the box in crepe paper.
Glue the paper on all around.
Let the glue dry very well.
The body is done, how to make the feet
Take two approximately equal boxes.
Wrap them closed with tape.
Stick crepe paper around the boxes.
Allow the glue to dry well and the feet are done.
How to make the head
Cut the 4 flaps on top from the box.
Stick paper on the box, leave the top open.
How to make a removable back for the head.
Trace the box on the cardboard.
Draw the lines to the edges.
Cut out the 4 corners.
Score the lines with closed scissors.
Fold on the scores and slide in the box.
This way the present can go in and out of the head without wrecking the Creeper. Write on the back: open here
All the Creeper parts are done.
Cut lots of green paper squares.
Cut a few black ones, for the face.
First stick the face on the Creeper head.
Stick squares on the feet
Stick squares on the body.
Stick black soles on the feet.
Stick black squares on the feet.
Cut a cross inside the head and in the top of the body.
Push a stick made to fit through the head and body.
Glue the head to the body.
Place the creeper clamp and let the glue dry.
Stick the feet on a stick and through the body.
Glue the feet on the stick, not on the body.
Hide your present in the head and your done!
Almost forgot... now just put in some hard work on the poem ;)) Happy December 6th!
