Today we are making a little sun for our summer table. We paint a peg doll with two colours of yellow and some orange. The little monsters think the wooden dolls are very cute, we're getting quite a collection! :)
This is how you make a little sun doll
Paint the body dark yellow.
Still wet, paint with lemon yellow.
Allow the paint to dry.
While the paint is drying we draw a sun pattern
Download our sun pattern.
Cut out the pattern.
Pin the sun onto the felt.
Cut it from the felt.
Paint an orange accent.
Give the face some colour.
Let the paint dry.
When the paint has dried completely rub beeswax over the doll
Let the wax soak in and rub it.
Stick the sun behind the head and your doll is ready!
