What do you need?
perler beads, in all kinds of colours
base plates, round and square
a pair of thin tweezers (optional)
baking paper
an iron
push pins
hobby glue or glue gun
earring rings and hooks
pliers
optional: beads and elastic cord
With perler beads you can make cute jewelry, a necklace, bracelet or earrings are quickly made. You can make (almost) any figure you like from perler beads. You can often make several cute things from the same object, as we show you here. We make fun push pins for your bulletin board, but would you rather have earrings? That is also possible. How to make pushpins or earrings
Make 2 small flowers of perler beads.
Place baking paper on top.
Turn the iron on high heat
Iron for 10 seconds.
Iron gently, with a circular motion
Remove the baking paper.
Allow the flowers to cool.
These will be earrings.
You can make more flowers in one go.
Iron the flowers all at once, covered with bakingpaper.
Let the flowers cool completely.
Choose wich side of the push pins is to be the front.
Make some leaves too
Stick push pins on the back of the flowers.
The flower-pushpins look cute on your memory board!
For earrings you prick a hole using a hot needle (adult).
Attach rings and hooks to the flowers and you have earrings.
