What do you need?
a big plastic box (HEMA)
1 - 1.5 packet of bird sand
pabbles
sea shells
food colouring
plastic sea animals
On warm, sunny days we like to go to the beach with our little mini-monsters. We have fun playing in the sand and the sea, we eat ice cream and search for sea shells. By now our sea shell box is almost full! So let's think, what can we do with the sea shells?
How to make a mini sea
Pour the bird sand into the box.
Spread it on the bottom.
Place the pebbles and shells.
Wet the sand.
First wet the sand with a tiny stream of water, to prevent the water getting cloudy.
Then place the box under the tap.
Add the food colourings to the water.
Now add the animals.
The turtle is going in first, he is a favorite animal, then the water quickly gets crowded. Even the See lions and the penguin want to swim in our sea ;)
