We have two weeks of Spring Break, but most schools only have 1 week. That's why it's nice and quiet today in Blijdorp Zoo and we can look around everywhere! It's not that hot yet so the animals are very active, they play, climb or are eating leasurely.
We first go to the elephants, because a baby elephant was born on October 9 last year and his name is Maxi. We would like to admire the no longer so little baby and he is playing outside with his mom.
Then we go to the Komodo dragons, two cubs were born there six months ago. They are already getting big and they are very beautiful to see. We can watch them up close today!
We see the Rhinos, the Little Pandas, the big Turtles and a lot of other animals. But now we go to the playground and after that eat poffertjes. It's always fun to be in Blijdorp, even though we've been here a 100 times!
