Dinosaur egg

with a surprise

What do you need?
watercolor paper
a pencil
a black felt-tip pen
scissors
watercolour paint and brushes
a popsicle stick
a glue stick
hobby glue

We love to make fun things we sometimes see on the world wide web, that's why we draw a dinosaur ourselves together with the lady of this youtube video. If you look closely at how she does it and you keep an eraser at hand, it will be very good! Then we cut out the dino, we paint it and an egg too and stick it together. Now your dino can hatch ;))

How to make a Dinosaur Egg

Draw and egg and cut it out.

Trace the egg and cut it out.

Draw a zig zag line on one egg.

Cut it in two on the zigzag line.

Set the second egg aside

Draw your own dinosaur.

Trace it with the marker.

Cut it out roughly.

Now cut out the small parts.

The 2 paper parts are ready.

Paint the egg in a light colour.

Decorate the egg.

Allow the egg to dry completely, the egg smooths out as the paper dries

While the egg is drying you paint the dinosaur

Paint the dinosaur in fun colours.

Try to paint between the lines.

Let the dinosaur dry completely too.

How to put the egg together

Glue the Dinoaur on the stick with hobby glue.

Stick the little piece of egg on it's head.

Now fetch the second egg.

Stick the half egg on the whole egg, brush no glue on the marked piece!

Slide the Dinosaur in and now you can hatch it from the egg.
