Arabian nights lantern sidell

To make such a beautiful Arabian Nights lantern you don't need much materials but without the 3D puff paint it won't work. This special type of paint is sometimes available at Pipoos or Hema. The glass paint you find at Action, a nice bargain, 5 colours for 1.99 euro. The lanterns look also very pretty during the Sugar Festival, that works out very well this month!

Paint the screw-thread rim with 3D puff paint.

Then make fantasy motifs on the glass jar.

We use tin and gold colour but 1 colour looks very pretty too.

Wait for the 3D puff paint to dry and harden completely.

Then paint the inside of the jar in a nice colour with glass paint.

The red transparent glass paint is by Decorfin and costs 4.95 a jar at Pipoos.

To make turqoise we mix blue and yellow from Action which turns out great!
