The story of Sleeping Beauty by the Grimm Brothers is so well known, the princess who pricks herself on a spinning wheel and then sleeps for a hundred years. So beautiful! And everyone sleeps with her, even the chefs in the kitchen and the dogs in the square, breathtaking! But with the animated film (feature film length) by Walt Disney she really became famous worldwide.
In the Netherlands you can see Sleeping Beauty's Castle in The Efteling, it was made after the drawings by Anton Pieck, a famous Dutch artist. First you have to climb up and then you can take a peek through all the windows, into the kitchen and you can also see the Sleeping Beauty asleep. In Euro-Disney Paris, the most beautiful castle is that of Sleeping Beauty. It sticks out above everything else and you can see it throughout the grounds.
All illustrations in this book are the well-known images from the film, for every fan the 'real 'Sleeping Beauty'. This edition is beautiful executed, a large size book and hard cover, yet the book costs only € 10.95. In any case, we could not resist it. A must have for everyone who loves the Disney Princesses!
