Three King's Lights

look pretty on the table!

What do you need?
3 small glass jars
kite paper, red blue, green
cardboard, gold and/or glitter
pair of scissors

For Epiphany we make 3 little lights in the color of the cloaks, red, green and blue. Fold the points of the crowns from kite paper and stick the points on a strip of cardboard. Then you stick the whole thing on the glass jars. Simple but beautiful., even more beautiful when the canles are lighted.

How to make make Epiphany lights

Fold and cut 16x16cm kite paper into quarters.

Fold one of the squares in half diagonally.

Unfold and fold 2 points towards the center line.

Secure the points with a small dab of glue.

Fold the points on 1 side towards the middle.

Fold the remaining 3 squares in the same way.

Dab all the points with glue.

You can stick the crown together in 3 ways

  • stick the folded points on a strip of cardboard
  • stick the points on the glass jar and stick the edge over it

Cut off the strip.

Glue and stick it around the jar.

Cut and paste on red.
