To make a tree house from cardboard is not that difficult, but the cardboard should be ribbed. The cardboard envelopes in which online book stores send large size d books already has ribs, so that works out well. Secure the house on a cardboard base, this is just a large circle with a smaller one attached, the garden. The circles can also be cut from a large box. We do not provide exact dimensions for the tree house, because it does not matter how big or small you make it. It depends on which dolls are going to move in ;))

Cover the tree house with felt or another fabric, we happened to have little brown felt and a lot of brown fleece in the house. We sew everything in whipstitch but feel free to use a different stitch.

Fold open the cardboard in which online books are send.

Cut off a rectangle of cardboard en fold it into strips.

There are lengthwise folds already, we just make more.

Now you can easily fold the cardboard in a circle.

Cover the cardboard in felt or fabric

Cut off a rectangle of fabric which covers the cardboard on both sides when you fold it in half, with a margin of 7 cm. That marging will become the roots of the tree later on.
