Shopping list
2 Little Gem or 1 head of lettuce
1 grilled chicken breast
100g crispy fried bacon
12 cherry tomatoes
100g feta cheese, diced
50g mixed olive
freshly roasted croutons
For the dressing
1/2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
sea salt & freshly ground black pepper
a spring onion
Do you also have some leftover grilled chicken breast in the fridge? Do not toss it out, you can use it nicely in an American Cobb salad. The recipe is very simple, you just fry bacon and stir an easy dressing. The rest is washing, possibly cutting and assemble it pretty. And then? Enjoy eating it of course!
How to make a Cobb Salad
The dressing in two steps
Place oil and vinegar in a bowl.
Stir in salt and pepper.
Wash the veg.
Cut the spring onion.
Add a teaspoon of oil to the pan.
Fry the bacon until crispy.
Toast the bread.
Cut the toast into squares.
Place all on a platter and enjoy!
