Today we are making a fun Easter sandwich for the kids. It tastes great in the weekend, for a breakfast treat. But it looks also cozy on the Easter table. It is fresh, healthy and very quickly made, you can prepare most of it in advance.
How to make a fried Easter egg
Scrape the carrot clean then cut it into thin strips.
Cut the whole wheat bun lenghtwise in halves.
Wash and cut the salad leaves then place them on the bun.
Pour the olive oil in the pan then bake an egg sunny side up.
Cut a tomato and fold a slice of grilled ham.
Cut the egg into a circle using a serving ring.
Place the egg on the lettuce, make legs, beak and eye on the yolk.
Happy Easter!
