A grass green smoothie

Shopping list
1 ripe avocado, the pulp
two lime's, juiced
1 banana, sliced
30g caster sugar
200 ml milk (skimmed or semi-skimmed)
ice cubes, to taste

optional
Spanish bread and olives

We initially wanted to make guacamole, when we were gifted with a beautiful avocado, - by our our sweet neighbor - imported directly from Venezuela. But with such a beautiful, green, unique avocado, you’d rather do something special, and today is Earth Day. So we are going to make a lovely, refreshing smoothie with it. That ticks all the boxes, beautiful, healthy, delicious, and spring green too!

How to make a grass-green smoothie

Scoop the avocado flesh into the blender, add the lime juice, the banana, sugar and milk.

Blend the ingredients together, nice and smooth. Place the smoothies in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Pour the smoothies into tall glasses and put in a pretty straw, just for fun.

Add ice cubes to taste to your smoothie.

 Enjoy your smoothie outside, in the sunshine.
