Almost Halloween and then we want to surprise the monsters with a spooky pizza. This time we choose a ready-made pizza base, the easy option. With Halloween coming we already have enough to do!
The black olives are a no-no here, that's why we make tomato sauce faces and we fill the topping up with mushrooms, also delicious. We give you the recipe for the homemade pizza base, so you can decide for yourself what you prefer ;)
How you make a spooky pizza
Lay out the base of the pizza and roll up the edge.
Weigh the passata and squeeze the garlic into it.
Add the olive oil as well and stir until combined.
Spread the tomato sauce generously over the pizza base.
Wash the tomatoes, brush the mushrooms clean. peel the shallot and grate the cheese
Cut the veg coarsely, halve the tomatoes.
Cover the tomato sauce with the vegetables.
Sprinkle the grated Pecorino over the pizza.
Preheat the oven to 210°C or else as stated on the pizza's packaging
How to make the ghosts ><
Cut the mozzarella into 3 slices.
Use a straw to drill out eyes and mouths.
Place the ghosts on top of the pizza.
Bake the pizza for 20-25 minutes, until golden and cooked
Drill out the eyes and mouths again, until you see tomato sauce.
Tear up basil leaves and sprinkle on top of the pizza.
Now enjoy your pizza and Happy Halloween!
