What do you need?
white and grey felting wool
black and pink felting wool
felting needles
mat
2 samll eyes
a drop of glue
Wool felting in itself is not difficult. You prick a long needle with barbs in a roll of wool until it becomes firm. Felting contours on the model is not so easy. But if you practice it is doable and the result is a cute animal. That's why we do it! We will felt a dwarf hamster today and we show you each step in the photo's.
Two tips:
- do not insert the needle diagonally into the wool but always prick vertically
- keep your fingers away from the needle with barbs, a prick is really painful
