250 ml milk
1 free-range organic egg
125g pancake flour, sifted
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tomatoes, sliced
100g thinly sliced bacon
finely cut chives
A favorite pancake at snazzie is this savory bacon & tomato pancake. Even though this pancake is not appreciated by the mini-monsters, there is nothing easier than baking a few sweet pancakes for them and then this one for yourself. Ready in no time and delicious!
Here's how you make a bacon & tomato pancake
Start by making the batter
Beat the egg with the milk, stir in the sifted flour and salt and let the batter rest for half an hour.
Melt a piece of butter on middle low heat.
Fry the bacon really crispy.
Ladle pancake batter over the bacon.
Let the pancake become slowly dry on top then flip the pancake, using a large plate
Place the tomato slices on top of the pancake, let them soften.
Sprinkle the finely cut chives on top of the pancake and the tomatoes.
