Today we make an Autumn tree with our youngest mini-monster. It will be a multiple days craft because it takes time to glue all the leaves on the tree. Then we also want to have some leaves blown off the tree and falling to the ground ... That requires a lot of patience for a (almost) three year old, but Puk loves it!
How to make the tree (adult)
Cut out a tree trunk and branches, give the child the glue stick and the tree parts.
Punch out circles from coloured paper, give the 'leaves' only when the tree is done ;))
Choosing a background colour is not difficult, pink is Puk's favorite colour.
Puk loves the glue stick, he glues the tree with dedication onto the paper.
Then Puk sticks on the leaves, first the glue again and then sticking on.
Little ones can already do a lot by themselves, but glueing on leaves is to much in one go.
We continue tomorrow and the day after because the tree will look most pretty when all the leaves are on.
Older kids make the tree on their own, they painted the tree trunk.
Puck shows us his tree is really big too, he is very proud of his Fall craft!
