a tiny wisp of carded wool, white, black
a tiny wisp of carded wool, orange, green
needle felt needle, medium & small
foam pad
2 little black beads

Today we needle felt a little bunny with a carrot. It is not difficult but do not forget: always prick up and down with the needle straight. For the body and head you can use the medium needle, for the paws, ears, tail and nose you use a small one. When you needle felt small parts keep them in place with a wooden skewer, then you will not prick your fingers.
How to make the body and the head
Pull a strand from the wool and roll it.
Prick in the roll until firm, holding the needle straight.
Roll a ball and prick it firm, leave some fluff at the end.
Prick the ball firmly onto the roll.
How to make the paws
Pull out a bit of grey wool, roll it between your hands.
Prick the paw all around until it feels firm.
Leave the ends of the paws fluffy.
If you use a skewer you won't prick your fingers.
Make all four paws roughly the same size.
Attach the paws firmly onto the body by pricking.
If it worked out your bunny should look like this.
How to make the ears and the tail
Pull off a small wisp of grey and of pink wool.
Roll the grey wool between your hands into two cylinders.
Prick them all around firm, in the shape of bunny ears.
Place the pink wool on top.
Attach the pink inside the ear.
Roll a small ball of white woll.
Pick the tail onto the bunny.
Shape the bunny's body
Pull four wisps of grey wool.
Shape into flat circles.
Prick only the inner circle.
Cover the paws with the circles.
How to make the eyes and the carrot
Sew with 1 thread the eyes on both sides of the head.
Needle felting a carrot should not be a problem anymore ...
Look what a sweet bunny you have made!
