What do you need?
the pattern, printed and cut it out
a folding sheet
pieces of colored cardboard
a pencil
scissors
a glue stick
a black felt pen
For Thanksgiving we have been making a fun bookmark, We already have some cute picture books to use it in. It cannot be anything other than the national symbol that appears on the bookmark. That is of course THE TURKEY! :)))
How to make a turkey bookmark
Start with the basis of the bookmark
Place a folding sheet diagonally in front of you.
Fold it in half, from top to bottom.
Fold both the sides toward the middle of the rectangle.
Now fold both the sides open again.
Fold one bottom point of the triangle upwards.
Then slip the left point underneath the folded triangle.
Do the same with the right point and make the folds sharp.
The base of the bookmark is now ready, set it aside and make the turkey
Trace all the loose parts of the pattern on the cardboard.
Cut out all the parts and glue them together in this way.
Glue the largest part of the tail on the basic bookmark.
Stick on the smaller part of the tail and the feathers.
Stick the turkey on the tail and then allow the glue to dry a few minutes!
Stick on the beak and the wattle and draw the eyes.
Let the glue and felttip pen ink dry a moment.
Your bookmark is ready, have a happy Thanksgiving!
