What do you need?
small glass jars
modpodge
coarse sea salt
glitter powder
kitchen twine
tiny bells or twigs of green
pinecones
tea lights
For Christmas you can quick and easy make cute winter lights. It is not immediately a children's craft because then you will certainly have a terrible mess afterwards. We made them when the mini-monsters were in school and lit the candles just before they got home. Great success!
These small yogurts are really expensive so we buy them only for a special occasion. But the glass jars are very handy when empty and we use them for lots of things!
How to make Christmas lights
Brush Modpodge on the jars.
We start by make two.
Sprinkle the salt on the wet glue.
Empty spots doesn't matter.
Fill those up using glitter.
Allow the modpodge to dry completely.
String two bells on a piece of twine.
Tie the twine around the jars.
We place the lights on a wooden platter.
Sweet with some twigs and autumn treasures on the side, but the mini monsters have their own ideas about decorations, very different from ours :)) Look above.
Merry Christmas!
