What do you need?
a small wooden doll (pegdoll)
a fretdrill
a tiny ring and eyelet
coloured paint
scraps of coloured wool felt
glue
2 tiny wooden beads
a thin ribbon
Today we are making sweet little Whitsun gifts for our little monsters. We make daisies, on a ribbon necklace. It's not a lot of work and we already know that they will love the little dolls. A fun craft to make!
How to make a Daisies necklace
Drill a hole in the head of the little wooden doll.
Slide a gold coloured stick an a little double eyelet.
Paint the dress of the little pegdoll white with water colour.
Paint the hair ochre yellow (like us) or any other colour.
Allow the paint dry well for a little while and meanwhile cut the wool felt:
Trace a larger doll to make the largest circle, the Whitsun doll you have for the middle one and the hole puncher for the smallest circle
Cut out the Daisy, for the hat.
Cut a collar, using pinking shears.
Stick on/in the felt, the 2 beads and the eyelet.
Draw a face on the little doll, if you like
Lace the ribbon through the eyelet, tie a little knot in the ribbon.
Your necklace is ready, now wrap your present prettily!
