The whole year round we have a lot of birds in the garden, robins, great tits, finches, magpies and jackdaws. to name a few. The mini monsters really enjoy watching them stomp a worm out of the ground or search the bushes for insects (and so do we).
Due to urbanization and less green gardens, it is not so easy for birds, there is not enough greenery in which they can eat well. That is why the Vogelbescherming asks to feed the outdoor birds all year round. Then they don't have to search for food in waste because that is very unhealthy for birds.
