These flying Halloween figures are really old school crafts. We are making a ghost and a witch today, but you can make almost anything you want, as long as it flies or crawls. A bat is fun but a spider is too, it doesn't fly of course, but it will run up the wall in no time! They are easy to make and have a lot of effect, the mini monsters love to play with them!
How to make a flying ghost or a Witch
Draw the figures yourself like we did or download our template
Draw a ghost behind which your roll disappears.
Neatly cut out the ghost.
Stick on eyes and draw a mouth on the ghost.
Let the glue and the paint dry for a moment.
While the glue dries you make the 'technical' part of the ghost
Stick a large needle through the tube.
Prick the holes in top and bottom.
Widen the holes a little.
Stick the string through the eye of the needle
Stick the string inside the top and outside of the bottom.
Spread generously glue on 1 side of the tube.
Press the tube on the back of the ghost, tie the beads on the string.
Let the glue dry thoroughly and your ghost is all set!
How to make a little witch
Draw or print out the loose parts.
Cut it all uit.
Measure with the tube.
Check if you have it complete.
Now that you're sure that your roll disappears behind the witch and that you have all the loose parts, you can start sticking it all together
Cut long hair from crepe paper.
Make the technical part like before.
Stick the tube on the witch.
Let the glue dry thoroughly!
Now your Ghost and your Witch can fly together!
Happy Halloween!
