Would you like to taste the wonderful flavour of Italian Muscat grapes in winter too? Then you should preserve them now as delicious jam, because now grapes are in season!
How to make delicious Muscat grape jam
Wash the grapes and remove from the stem.
Pass 1000g through a sieve.
Stir pulp and juice together.
- Cut the remaining 200g grapes in half, remove the pips and put aside for now.
- The other 1000 gram gave us 600ml mush and juice.
Bring the mixture to the boil.
Add the grapes after 2 minutes.
Cook the mixture for 2 more minutes.
Fill the jars 1cm under the rim.
Turn 5 min. upside down.
Leave the jam to cool totally.
Grape Jam? Super delicious!
How to store jam
- Unopened, jam can be stored for a year without loss of flavour, provided that it is kept in a cool, dark place.
- When the jar is opened your jam should always be stored in the refrigerator!
