At the moment there is a very nice promotion at Albert Heijn: Expedition Ocean. With every 10 euros of groceries you get a bag with sticker pictures and for 0.99 euro cents you can buy a nice scrapbook for the pictures. The promotion started on September 5 and will run until October 2. The mini-monsters love sea creatures and the ocean! it's going to be our book theme come February, so there's a lot of collecting going on, at snazzie!
The book Expedition Ocean was written by Professor dr Freek Vonk, the well-known evolutionary biologist, in collaboration with the scientists of Biodiversity Center Naturalis. At the moment there are all kinds of activities in Naturalis for the whole family to participate in, which is also much fun!
Albert Heijn would not be Albert Heijn if the promotion was not accompanied by merchandise. There are key rings with sea creatures on them, stuffed animals from small to large and beautiful posters of the ocean animals for sale.
