75g butter cubes
½ beaten free range eggi
125g flour + extra to dust
½ theelepel vanilla extract
a dash of salt
coloured icing fondant, coloured marzipan
green and pink sprinkles
Super fun! We are going to bake Fiep's cute cats & dogs with our new cookie cutters which we bought at Albert Heijn Supermarket or at Hema.
How to make Fiep's biscuits
First download our recipe and make the dough.
Rol the dough to ½ - 1cm thick, cut out shapes.
Place the biscuits on waxed paper on a tray.
Bake the biscuits on 170 ° C in 8 - 10 mins. golden.
Allow the biscuits to cool completely on a wire rack.
How to decorate the biscuits
Roll out black fondant icing and cut out the cats.
Stick them onto the biscuits with a drop of water.
Press eyes, noses and wiskers into the cats.
The cats are ready, now we start with the dogs, they need a little more work!
Knead white marzipan with a pinch of cocoa.
Knead and roll in orange marzipan too.
Cut out dogs and stick them on the biscuits.
Roll white with black dots and cut out a doggy.
Carve out ears, eyes and noses, stick them on.
Give all the dogs a coloured dog collar.
The little mini-monsters are a bit sad to eat the cute biscuits ;)
