Hot Buffalo Wings from the USA

Shopping list for 4 persons
1 to 1½ kilo's chicken wings
30 ml olive oil
1 tablespoon hot roasted paprika powder
2 tablespoons Cajun spices

True to the American way, these Buffalo Wings are super easy to prepare and quickly ready. The perfect menu if you do not want to be in the kitchen when having dinner guests or during a heat wave, for example.

The wings you can cozily have in the back yard, with your plate in your lap.  You are doing (not onaly) the mini-monsters a big favor too. Do mind the amount of spices if kids join you for dinner!

How to make Hot Buffalo Wings

Day 1

Wash the chicken wings, pat them dry then put  in a zip lock bag.

Pour the olive oil into the bag with chicken wings.

Add the Cajun spices and the hot paprika powder.

Rub the spices into the chicken wings and seal the bag.

Allow the Buffalo Wings to marinate overnight in the fridge.

Day 2
If needed start the preparations early in the morning, when it's still cool!

Start ± 45 minutes before you want to have dinner with preheating the oven to 200°C and placing parchment paper on the baking tray.

Take the wings from the fridge and rub the spices in again.

Spread the Hot Buffalo wings out on the baking tray.

Bake the wings in 30 - 35 minutes golden and cooked.

The Chicken wings are cooked, the marinade has caramelized.

Serve the Hot Buffalo Wings with French Fries, coleslaw on the side.

And what does a real American drink with this dinner? A cold beer of course! For the kids a coke ;)
