What do you need?
styrofoam eggs
woollen pompoms
yellow & orange felt
wobbly eyes
hobby glue
optional: a colored thread
With some ready made styrofoam eggs and woollen pompoms you can quick and easy make 3 types of funny Easter chicks with your todler.
Here's how you do it
Cut the eggs in halves.
Cut jaggies on the edge and make a hole in the egg.
Cut off a bottom slice so the egg can stand up.
Glue two pompoms on top of each other.
Glue the eyes on.
With your scissors, felt and a pencil...
you draw wings, feet and a little beak...
and cut them out of the felt.
Glue all the parts on the chick.
Thread the yarn through the chick.
You can make the chicks in various colours and poses, they can stand up, hang in Easter Branches or sit in styrofoam eggs. Choose what you like best or use all three options.
