Today we crochet a little sheep. An amigurumi isn't difficult to crochet but you have to be able to make a magic loop. Which can give you some trouble in the beginning but isn't really complicated. You have to practice a few times to see how easy it is if you know how to do it. If you can't get it right look at a youtube video.
How to make an amigurumi sheep
How to crochet a magic circle (or ring)
Wind the thread twice round your finger, leave the loose end.
Slide the double circle from your finger and hold it at the bottom.
Stick the needle through the loop to the thread.
Pull the thread through the loop en chain 1.
Now you have made the first stitch of the magic circle, make 7 more stitches in the same way
Pull the bottom loop of the double circle tight.
Now carefully pull the loose end tight...
...and there's your magic loop of 8.
Close the magic circle with a slip stitch. Chain one stitch and start in the first V with two crochet stitches in the same V followed by one single crochet until you have 12 V's. Close with a slip stitch.
Chain 1 and stick in the needle in the next V.
Make 4 single crochet and then chain four.
Count back and start in the third stitch.
Pull the thread through the stitch.
Stick the needle in the first chain stitch and close with a slip stitch.
After 4 single crochet stitches you start on the 2nd ear in the fifth V.
Make single crochet stitches until the end of the circle, close with a slip stitch.
Chain two stitches in the second color.
Close the two chain stitches with a slip stitch.
Tie the 2 loose ends together and cut them off.
Go all around 2 single chrochet in the same stitch, then 2x 1 single chrochet.
Close the circle with a slip stitch. Then chrochet 9 rows and close with a slipstitch.
After 9 rows decrease 6 stitches, fill the sheep and decrease the last 6 stitches.
Tie off with the embroidery needle, stick the thread through the sheep and cut it off.
Embroider thick tiny legs and glue in the eyes.
Now the sheep can roam green pastures ;)
