iron wire
pliers
white baking paper
black, white, orange crepe paper
a pencil
pair of scissors
hobby glue
LED light or tea candle
optional: nylon thread
Make a Halloween lantern with us , download our PDF, print it and cut out the Halloween shapes. The girls are seriously doing their utmost, Eefje makes a pumpkin, Madelief a ghost and bats, they're creepy lanterns but fun for Halloween.
How to make a Halloween Lantern
Trace the Halloween shapes on cardboard.
Cut them out and trace them on crépe paper.
Cut out bats, pumpkins and spiders.
Twist a handle from wire in the grooves on top of a jar.
Eefje can draw a pumpkin all by het self.
Madelief prefers a ghost and a bat.
Then Eefje also makes a bat, just like her big sister.
Glue baking paper on the jar upto 3 cm above the edge.
Brush glue on the back of your Halloween shapes.
Stick the Halloween shapes on the paper.
Madelief draws an extra spider on the lantern as well.
Now we have to wait until it's dark.
Stick a little candle or a LED light in the lantern and you can put it anywhere you like. Do you prefer to hang the lantern you have to tie a nylon thread on the wire.
