This year Eef turned four, so now she is 'already' in 1st grade in elementary school. You learn all sorts of cool things there like painting with your hands. So that's what she likes to show us today: how to paint with your hands.
You can try and persuade a pre-schooler it is also fun to paint something entirely different, with our Eefje this is an Hercules task so here we go!
After messing around the paint is finaly on Eefjes hands, she startsw with blue.
Eef pressed her paint fingers on the cloth then got a brilliant idea, every finger a different colour!
We spread paint on her fingers with a paintbrush, Eef dictates the colours.
It is obvious she is getting big, she thinks about what she does. She wants to make the hands in pairs because you have two. She uses all colours now, before she mixed a dirty drab and that was it ;)
Spray on fixation because gouache is not water resistant and Eefje wants to preserve her painting forever. She is happy with her masterpiece. It turned out excellent she thinks so she likes to pose with it for us.
We have to admit honestly: looking at her proud face we like the corny handpainting a lot better already!
