1 roll fresh puff pastry
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 small onion
175g tomato passata
100g mozzarella, grated
50g pecorino romano
freshly ground sea salt and pepper
some extra virgin olive oil
Today we make vegetarian pizza hearts, yummy with vegetables and cheese. Ready quickly with the beautiful weather and it can be eaten out of the hand so they can go outside.
How to make vegetarian pizza hearts
Clean the bell peppers and cut them into strips.
Cut the onions into rings.
Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
Grate the cheese.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut out hearts
Prick holes in the center of the hearts.
Place the hearts on waxed paper on the baking tray.
Spread passata on the hearts.
Preheat the oven to 200°C / 180°C Fan
Divide the veg over the hearts.
Sprinkle cheese. salt and pepper, to taste.
Sprinkle olive oil over the hearts.
Bake the hearts in 15-20 minutes golden
Let the hearts cool slightly on a wire rack,
Eat the hearts while still warm.
