matching colours of embroidery thread
an embroidery needle
Today we are going to embroider with the little monsters, we are making beautiful coloured autumn leaves. We cut out the leaves in advance so they can start right away. We keep it very simple so that it is not too difficult for them, otherwise the fun will quickly be gone. But we just make simple long stitches and then you have made a very beautiful autumn leaf. How fun is that?
How to embroider autumn leaves
Cut out the patterns.
Pin the patterns on felt.
Cit out the Autumn leaves.
Tie a knot in the tread.
Make little stitches all around.
We adjust our embroidery plan.
We embroider the veins on the leaves.
A lot of small stitches all around is a bit too much, but embroidering the veins goes really well and it looks very pretty!
When all the leaves are done we place them everywhere.
And the cheerful leaves look very pretty everywhere!
